the pain and suffering of these people is not some fucking selling point for veganism. that’s great that you see non-human animals as equals but in the same way that saying “i don’t see race, we’re all just people” is problematic, THIS IS FUCKING PROBLEMATIC. you cannot just erase the unique struggles of these people. learn to make arguments without appropriating the oppression of humans; there is a violence that is unique to nonhuman animals and there is a voice unique to speaking out against it.
